**STOP MARKING CHILDREN’S WRITING! ** This editing structure splits the process into two sections, proof-reading and composition. The only ‘marking’ the class teacher must do is, read the child’s work, note down any common grammatical and spelling errors, then add examples (good and bad) to the slides. I have used this process for a whole year and I’ve managed to mark 30 children’s writing AND plan an editing lesson in 40 minutes! This 23 slide notebook include all the KS2 writing writing at and above age related standard assessment criteria to help with assessing the children writing. Give it a go and contact me if anything is unclear. Claim back your evenings!
